Film Education in the News: Film classes bring new films to the classroom

A growing number of partnerships nationwide between high schools and arts organizations are giving students the opportunity to watch classic films with a critical eye. Although students initially are turned off by black-and-white or subtitled movies, film teacher James Gleason says after about 20 minutes of watching a good movie, teens become totally captivated.
